IMA® (Institute of Management Accountants) is seeking passionate volunteer members to join your IMA local community leadership team.  We have openings for many different volunteer opportunities that are short and/or long-term.  
 
Local chapter engagement with IMA offers professional networking opportunities with finance professionals and companies in your community; professional development opportunities to improve your finance and leadership competencies to advance in your career; opportunities to build your project planning and presentation skills in a safe environment. Come out and join your local leadership team to be part of empowering the profession and helping others achieve their professional goals while building your network.

About the Role

You will work closely with your fellow volunteer board members, and regional volunteers to achieve shared goals and ensure the chapter's success. You will also collaborate with the Volunteer Relations team at IMA headquarters in the USA.

As a Chapter Board member, you will help drive the success of our local IMA community by:

• Planning and coordinating chapter activities.
• Engaging members to ensure a high-quality member experience
• Representing the IMA mission and vision as an ambassador in the region.

Board roles include (but are not limited to): President, Secretary, Treasurer, Vice President of Engagement, Webmaster, and other task force members. All board members must be IMA members and demonstrate a commitment to the responsibilities of care, loyalty, and compliance with IMA’s policies.
